Villa Borratella is surrounded by its 5 hectares of Chianti Classico vineyards, 2 hectares of olive groves and 75 hectares of woods.
At an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, the grape variety mainly cultivated is Sangiovese and complementary also Cabernet and Merlot are grown; an excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from approximetely 200 olive trees.
Borratella collects about 300 quintals of grapes and gets, in its own cellar equipped with the most modern technologies, about 200 hl of wine destined to the bottling of Chianti Classico wine, Chianti Classico Riserva and IGT Super Tuscan.
Chianti Classico Riserva
Intense ruby red color. Well balanced smell with berries notes, blackberry, enriched by spicy notes and aroma tic herbs.
Good tannic flavour, silky and enveloping.
Balanced, dry and spicy aftertaste.

Chianti Classico Annata
Ruby red color with purple shade.
Harmonious red fiuits smell such as blueberry and cherry, combined with floral and slightly spiced notes. Properly tannic flavour, wide and balanced. Long and fiuity aftertaste.

VINIFICATION: Grape harvest in perfect maturation, maceration on the skins for approximately 18/20 days with frequent pumping over, fermentation at controlled teperature in stainless steel tanks
MATURATION: in barrel and barrique of2nd and 3rd passage for 12 months
REFINIMENT: In bottle for 4 months SERVING TEMPERATURE: l8°C
Yaro – Rosso di Toscana
Deep ruby red colour with violet shade, with the ageing almost garnet red. Rich and penetrating smell, spicy and floral, well balanced by red berry fiuits. To taste irnmediately full and full-bodied, never aggressive, fìnal dry savoury and persistent. Full-body, never aggressive; dry, sapid and long.
WINE VARIETAL: Cabernet frane and Merlot
SOIL: Faicing south-west at an altitude of about 350 – 380 mt above sea level. Very rich in structure, Alberese stone prevails, calcareous, on a averagely clayey base.
VINIFICATION: In stainless still tanks at controlled temperature, macerati on on the skins for approximately 25 / 30 days.
MATURATION: In tonneaux and barriques of I stand 2nd passage for 24 months
REFINIMENT: In bottle for 4 months
